Main Responsibilities:
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in Quebec;
- Tax Advice: Provide strategic tax advice to clients to optimize their tax situation;
- Tax Returns: Prepare and review tax returns for businesses and individuals;
- Internal Audit: Participate in internal audits to ensure tax practices comply with standards;
- Regulatory Watch: Monitor changes in tax legislation and inform the team of potential impacts;
- Training and Development: Train team members on new tax regulations and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Taxation or In-Depth Tax Course, accounting or legal profile;
- Good knowledge of tax laws and principles;
- Excellent teamwork skills;
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships;
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
- Very good knowledge of French (oral and written).
