Accounting Technician: Assistance with Administrative Tasks

Our client, a renowned company in the real estate sector, is looking to expand its team by adding an Accounting Clerk. This essential role will support administrative and financial activities, directly contributing to the daily operations of the organization.

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Chief Accountant, the Accounting Clerk will be responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as billing. You will play a key role in optimizing financial processes and contribute to the success of the team.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on accounts payable and accounts receivable;
  • Ensure the accuracy and regularity of billing;
  • Prepare and organize the necessary financial documents for the accounting team;
  • Collaborate with internal teams for the resolution of financial disputes;
  • Provide support for month-end closures and financial reports;
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to the financial department.

Desired Profile:

  • Degree in accounting or in finance (an asset);
  • Experience of at least 1 year in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, etc.);
  • Aptitude for numbers, rigor, and attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously with efficiency;
  • Team spirit and excellent communication skills;
  • Bilingualism in French and English (asset).
