E-commerce, Customer Service & Operations Manager in Victoriaville

Located in Victoriaville, our client is a well-established company in the fashion industry, known for its human-centered and stylish approach. The company is looking to grow its team during a digital transformation phase.

As part of the migration to the Shopify platform, it is seeking an experienced fashion advisor who is organized, detail-oriented, and has an excellent sense of customer service.

The goal: to offer an online experience as personalized and refined as the one delivered in-store.

Your mission:

You will be the main point of reference for the online customer experience. From publishing products online to shipping, including personalized remote advising, you will play a central role in the quality of the boutique’s digital service.

This is a versatile and non-routine position – you will be involved in multiple aspects of the boutique, making it a rewarding and stimulating opportunity on a daily basis.

Main Responsibilities

Shipping and Order Processing:

  • Carefully and accurately prepare orders
  • Select optimal shipping options (fast and cost-effective)
  • Track parcels and communicate with clients as needed
  • Handle returns professionally (encouraging exchanges or store credits)

Customer Service and Remote Styling:

  • Respond to clients (phone and email – bilingual)
  • Provide thoughtful advice based on body type, style preferences, and needs
  • Offer a personalized and professional remote shopping experience
  • Handle post-sale requests and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Create product pairings (complete looks) to recreate the in-store experience online and inspire clients with relevant suggestions

Product Uploads (Shopify):

  • Create product listings: prices, sizes, accurate descriptions (flawless French and English)
  • Organize photos in a logical and consistent order
  • Use Canva to adjust or standardize visuals when needed
  • Ensure visual consistency throughout the online store

Inventory Monitoring and Receiving:

  • Participate in receiving merchandise (unpacking, quality control, tagging)
  • Create product listings progressively, based on arrivals
  • Collaborate with the procurement manager to ensure stock accuracy online

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing manager to align featured products with campaigns
  • Coordinate with the procurement manager to ensure seamless updates of stock and website
  • Assist in-store when needed, particularly with customer service or occasional personalized styling

Desired Profile:

  • Hands-on experience in clothing sales or styling
  • Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written)
  • Proficient in Shopify and Canva
  • Excellent writing skills, error-free in both French and English
  • Attention to detail, precision, and thoroughness
  • Structured, reliable, and methodical mindset
  • Comfortable giving remote advice with empathy and professionalism
  • Strong aesthetic sense and interest in visual product presentation
