Receptionist

Our client (a growing corporate insurance firm) is looking for a receptionist to join a team where enjoyment, respect, collaboration, transparent communication, and simplicity are at the heart of the work environment.

Your mission as a receptionist will consist of:

  • Warmly welcome our clients and visitors. You will be their first point of contact and ensure they feel welcomed.
  • Be our mail master! You’ll sort incoming mail and efficiently prepare outgoing mail for postal or courier services.
  • Handle written communications (like faxes and emails). You’ll receive and quickly redirect them to the right people.
  • Be a data entry ace. You’ll input information into our systems and prepare various correspondence using existing templates.
  • Manage our office supplies with care. Ordering, inventory, and maintaining the stockroom will be your responsibilities to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Be ready to lend a hand with any other office tasks that may arise. You’re a true administrative multitasker!

To be the person we are looking for, you must:

  • Reside in the city of Quebec
  • Hold a DEP in Secretarial Studies or an AEC in Office Automation
    • Or 2 to 3 years of experience in customer service as a receptionist
  • Have excellent command of spoken and written French
  • Maintain a positive attitude and a constant desire to help
  • Have advanced expertise with the Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams)
