Position: Account Director and Commercial Damage Insurance Broker

Your mission as an Account Director and Commercial Damage Insurance Broker

We are looking for an Account Director passionate about developing new business opportunities. If you enjoy using your interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with clients and partners, this position is for you. If you are results-oriented, capable of effectively managing priorities, and thrive in complex and evolving environments, then this role is definitely for you.

You will be responsible for:

  • Respond to client requests, provide advice, and analyze risks;
  • Review the client’s insurance portfolio to identify sales and referral opportunities;
  • Update client file information and handle renewals, endorsements, and cancellations in compliance with insurer standards;
  • Support the client during claims, provide follow-ups, and promote prevention;
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all received documents and take the necessary actions;
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all produced documents; we are issuers!;
  • Enter notes into the computer system and follow up on activities in accordance with procedures.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Hold a brokerage license in commercial damage insurance.
  • Have more than 5 years of experience in business development.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional proficiency in French and English (written, spoken, and reading).
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in technological tools, especially the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Asset: knowledge of Epic (Applied) and Policy Work (CRM) software.
