Position: Damage Insurance Broker - Underwriter - SDG Program

Your mission as a Damage Insurance Broker - Underwriter - SDG Program will be to:

As an intermediary between clients and insurance companies, you will analyze specific needs, propose tailored coverage, and negotiate contract terms. Your mission is to ensure optimal protection of assets while adhering to SDG program standards and provincial regulations.

As a broker, you will be expected to:

  • Respond to client requests, provide guidance, and assess risks;
  • Review the client’s insurance portfolio to identify sales and referral opportunities;
  • Update client file information and handle renewals, endorsements, and contract cancellations in compliance with insurer standards;
  • Assist clients in the event of a claim, provide follow-up, and promote Prevention!
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all received documents and take necessary actions;
  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of all produced documents; we are the issuers!
  • Record notes in the system and track activities in accordance with procedures.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Posséder un diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en assurance ou une attestation d’études collégiales (AEC) liée à l’assurance;
  • Détenir un certificat de représentant valide de l’Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) en assurance des entreprises, de particuliers ou de dommages;
  • Avoir une maîtrise des logiciels de bureautique (suite Office);
  • Avoir une bonne connaissance du français oral et écrit

Des points supplémentaires seront accordés si le candidat possède également:

  • Une connaissance du logiciel TAM;
  • Une maîtrise de l’anglais
  • Un peu d’expérience

Diplômes:

  • AEC en assurance de dommages;
  • Certification(s) et titre(s) professionnel(s) requis;
  • Assurance de dommages des entreprises – Agent ou courtier (AMF)

Années d’expérience:

  • 2 à 5 ans

Langues:

  • Français: Avancé;
  • Anglais : Débutant;
  • Autres: Connaissance de la langue anglaise est un atout.
