We are looking for a Regional Property Manager

We are looking for a Regional Property Manager to oversee the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of properties within an assigned region. Reporting to the Director of Real Estate Asset Management, you will supervise property managers as well as third-party leasing agents, when necessary.

Salary: Between $65,000 and $95,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of multiple properties within the assigned region, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Director of Real Estate Asset Management on long-term projects aimed at improving property value.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Implement initiatives to improve tenant satisfaction and reduce turnover rates.
  • Oversee and support property managers in the management of residential, commercial, or cooperative properties.
  • Manage leasing activities, including the negotiation and signing of new leases and renewals.
  • Supervise regional advertising strategies to achieve occupancy targets.
  • Monitor monthly financial variances and report on them.
  • Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks related to property management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and implement emergency protocols.
  • Recruit, train, and manage property management staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.

Requirements:

  • College or university degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in property management, including at least 2 to 3 years in a multi-site management role.
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles and landlord-tenant laws.
  • Proven experience in achieving financial goals and improving tenant satisfaction.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and French.

Travel: Occasional
